Clare Coffey

Clare has been at H+K for over a decade during which time she has developed a broad skillset including corporate and public affairs, reputation management, media relations and crisis management. Each of these skills enables her to advise the companies she works with on reputation management – how to promote and improve it, and how to protect it.

She has worked with clients that include Bibby Financial Services, Visa, IHG, BNY Mellon, Clifford Chance, the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), OC&C Strategy Consultants, British Cycling and HSBC UK.

Clare spent three months on secondment at H+K Singapore in 2014 having won the Dave Robinson Scholarship. In Singapore she worked on a range of corporate affairs briefs for financial and professional services clients, including One Raffles Place and the RTO of KOP (real estate). She also got her first ever front page for HSBC in the Straits Times!

Clare has worked at Westminster, Brussels and Holyrood in various communications and policy capacities. She has also worked at the Financial Services Authority in the Parliamentary Affairs team in the Communications Division.

Clare graduated from University of Edinburgh with an MA (hons) in politics. She is keen on running and plays netball twice a week. She is politically active but seems to be the kiss of death to the campaigns she works on – though she recently had a win. Who knows, the Coffey curse may have lifted!
