Jessica Walsh

Jessica Walsh leads the London Healthcare practice at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Originally from the New York office, Jessica has fifteen years of experience in global health communications. For nearly a decade, Jessica has worked in London on European, UK and global clients, developing ideas for people-centred healthcare projects that improve outcomes including patient experience.

Since joining the London team, Jessica has held leadership roles in our New York and London teams, working in HIV, anesthesia, multiple sclerosis and oncology across product and patient affairs portfolios. For four years, Jessica led the OsteoLink team, working on behalf of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the University of Geneva to create the first social network dedicated to people who live with osteoporosis. She has also served as a communications advisor to one of London’s largest public sector organizations, helping its management board deliver culture and organizational change. Currently, she serves as strategy lead for a range of European healthcare clients in rare diseases, psoriasis, hepatitis C, corporate and patient affairs, with a good deal of experience in biologic medicines.

Jessica graduated from Wellesley College with honours in psychology and French.  Fluent in French, she spent her post-graduate year teaching English at the political science university in Paris and interning at ABC News. In 2012, she co-wrote and produced the award-winning short film, Wild Horses.

Jessica sits on the UK board at H+K, and since 2015, Jessica has participated on the faculty of WPP’s Maestro program for senior leaders. In 2017, she was part of the WPP Walk the Talk women’s leadership pilot.  Her 2017 talk Can Creativity Keep Health Human? given at the H+K annual Creativity + New Reality conference at Kings Place in London is available on YouTube.
